We're all about efficiency and 'forever-chemical free' natural environments and proven sustainable solutions. Ironically, despite my religious interest in clean efficient energy and BSc in Env. Sc. the unavoidable truth is that for the moment, traditional energy systems are the best and most practical energy option for the masses compared to solar power/battery systems, wind and possibly nuclear power.
This may sound controversial but I can unequivocally say that the level of wilful ignorance, propaganda and scientific lies about the energy, climate, conservation and recycling is highly politicised.
Don't get us wrong now, we're not making any decisions for anyone, Our interest is to make sure our customers aren't sold a 'lemon' when they're expecting clean energy and lower bills. When I first looked into solar panelling I didn't know about the toxic battery issue and horrendous environmental cost to make them. Even with government grants the economics did not add up. It was about 8-10 years before the panels paid off and by then there may be a need for cell and battery maintenance, replacement and repair and change of legislation. The toxic process in making and recycling solar panels was another questionable issue.
Recycling paper and plastics, btw, is another red-herring and it turns out that the best way to use paper refuse is to burn it as all the recycling processes out-cost the benefits. Plastics are far worse - I think you'll need to research that yourself as the truth behind the plastics recycling debacle is disheartening and hard to believe.
Sometimes I wish I was in cold climes just to have the glory of a wood burning stove thawing out the icy ambience. A sure way of reducing heating bills is not needing any, a sound reason to relocate to a tropical place.

Currently energy security is much higher ex-Europe and a bit of long term thinking might drive many to place themselves somewhere along the Silk Road ribbon to consolidate future prospects. that shouldn't pose a problem for most because the Silk Road stretches from China all the way to Europe - can't wait!
Our concern then is with temperate to tropical climates. This is where the fundamentals of layout, amenities, build quality and potential enterprise form part of the picture.

Instead of chasing false chimeras of 'new' efficient technology (which upon investigation is often not new or efficient), we focus on reputable high quality utilities with modern efficiency.

Double door refrigeration is a must for modern living and also allows moderate bulk purchasing of food staples and meat if you're a rabid carnivore like my good self.
The toilet can either be a bidet or hybrid dual-flush type giving you the option of extra hygiene and the advantage of both variants.
The shower will be water conserving and of course pre-treated with the filtration and UV cleansing and anti-bacterial systems we supply as a standard feature. A bathtub is also optional and depending on the model of home and bathtub style you choose may require some adjustment to the layout. Dual flush toilets are a subset and an advance on the traditional gravity-assist toilet, dual-flush models have two flush buttons or a two-stage lever. One setting is a normal 1.6-gallon flush for solid waste, and the other is a lighter .8- to 1.1-gallon flush for liquid waste only.

Even with all the thoroughness we've applied to our housing and modern living models reflected in our literature here it cannot be overstressed that energy backup is still a highly valuable feature. We therefore suggest that having a backup generator or best-case solar energy battery bank is a wise precaution, Needless to say we can help you with that and much more.
